Mary Queen of Scots Way
This new coast to coast route runs for 107 miles (172 km) across central Scotland from Arrochar to St Andrews. The scenery is very varied: the Way starts at a rugged sea-loch and ends on a sandy beach, going through hills, forest and moorland and passing castles, forts, towns and villages on the way. It uses forest tracks, footpaths, cycle routes and some country lanes. Many of the places along the Way are associated with Mary Queen of Scots.
