Llŷn Coastal Path

The Llŷn Coastal Path is one of the great walks in Britain. A fit walker will be able to complete it in a week without much difficulty. Although a good percentage of the route is very well waymarked and finger posted there are, however, sections that are not marked at all. The first 17¼ miles from Caernarfon to Trefor are mostly completed on road, the next 62¼ miles to Pwllheli follows a rugged coastline. The remaining 17¼ miles to Porthmadog are alongside, or on, beaches interspersed by short sections of road walking, making a total of almost 97 miles for the walk described.
