St Oswald's Way (97 miles) visits rolling farmland, the vast sandy beaches of the Northumberland Coast Path, and Lindifarne (Holy Island). St Cuthbert's Way (62 miles) crosses the Cheviot Hills between Melrose and the Northumberland coast. Both trails pass through the Morthumberland National Path to converge on the Holy Island.
